Upton Village
Upton village
Upton is a hamlet in Hampshire, located approximately 7 miles north of Andover. It has a population of approximately 250. The River Swift, a winterbourne, runs through it and can flood between December and February, but this can be longer, later or earlier.

The Parish boundary, as seen on the map here, dates back many centuries, believed to the Roundheads and Cavaliers. The western side is governed by the Parish Council of Vernham Dean, and the eastern side by Hurstbourne Tarrant.
